Everyone who knew Jan was aware of her love of dogs and she was a supporter of Dogs Trust for many years. She loved sending treats to the dogs and receiving updates about her sponsor dog. 

The Evelina London Children's hospital saved the life of Janet's youngest granddaughter. The whole family can never thank the hospital enough for their care.
